There were nearly 120,000 power outages in the entire Manhattan area as a result of the storm Tuesday night.
Eleven city crews were on call and worked through the night.
Street cleanups are expected to be done by the end of the day on Wednesday.
Pickup of debris off of curbs is planned for the next one to two weeks. The possibility of bringing in private contractors to help is being considered.
The information was reported to the Manhattan City Commission by staff on Tuesday night.
