The annual Run for the Wall riders are slated to arrive in Junction City about 5:40 p.m. Sunday. They will hold a memorial ceremony in Hertage Park and stay overnight before leaving Monday morning on their cross country trip. This is a ride from California to Washington D.C.
Run for the Wall was initially developed to promote healing among all veterans, their families and friends. It seeks an accountuing of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action.
Run for the Wall is the longest cross country motorcycle ride of this type in the world. Junction City is on the central route, one of four routes.
