Nancy Paulette Larson, 70, of Manhattan, passed away Monday, March 28th, at Ascension Via Christi Health Hospital. She was the secretary at College Avenue United Methodist Church in Manhattan and helped at Grizzly's Restaurant also in Manhattan.
Nancy was born in Manhattan, on January 11, 1952, the daughter of the late Emma Eveline (Spain) and B Sylvester Gourley. She graduated from Manhattan High School with the Class of 1970. She was united in marriage at the 1st Baptist Church, where she belonged, to Harvey J. Larson. Nancy was a member of the Post Office Auxillary Letter Carriers Auxillary Union; PTA/PTO at the Northview Schools; was a former and original board member of the Boys/Girls Club and loved to make crafts, wood painting, sewing, and other wonderful time sharing hobbies.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Harvey Larson of their home; a daughter, Angela Christine Motley, of Manhattan, KS; two sons, Allen Ryan Larson, of Phoenix Ariz.; Michael P. B. Larson, of Manhattan, a brother, Tom Gourley, husband of Gloria, of Neosha, MO; She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler Motley, Kaitlyn Motley, Ryan Larson, Alyssa Larson, and her great-granddaughter, Emma Mae Motley. Nancy is preceded in death by her mother; father; brother, Mike; sister, Christine Blausett; and her brothers George Gourley and Dave Gourley.
