RILEY COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 6:30p.m. Friday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Whitney Francis, 47, of Manhattan crashed with a 2002 gold Honda Odyssey driven by Gabriel Ramos-Calleja, 20, of Manhattan, near the intersection of Marlatt and N. Seth Child Road in Manhattan.
EMS transported Francis and a 19-year-old passenger in the Honda to Via Christi for treatment of injuries. Francis was issued a citation for failure to stop or yield at a stop sign. The RCPD released no other details.
