Bobby Gene Pfizenmaier, age 92 of Green, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Presbyterian Manor in Clay Center.
He was born on September 15, 1931, on a farm outside of Green, the son of Harry Ernest and Wilma Mae (Clark) Pfizenmaier.
He married JoAnne Joyce Appleton on September 12, 1954, in Green. She survives of the home.
Bobby was a lifetime farmer and rancher who enjoyed harvesting and raising cattle. He was a member of the Green Christian Church and Elks Lodge. He loved his family and watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in all their activities. He also liked deer and pheasant hunting with his family and the Kansas City Royals.
In addition to his wife, JoAnne Pfizenmaier, he is survived by three children; Sonya Conrad and husband Kim of Manhattan, Greg Pfizenmaier and wife Vicki of Green and Shelly Kolterman and husband Jay of Clay Center; one brother, Noel Pfizenmaier and wife Joy Deane of Randolph; eleven grandchildren, Brandon Pfizenmaier (Jill), Sheldon Pfizenmaier (Evy), Shantel Marrs (Josh), Cory Willmann (Becky), Tony Kolterman (Kadi), Jordan Kolterman (Cassity), Jayde Kolterman (Amanda), Ty Kolterman, Jami Hocker (Luke), Staci Stratman (Josh) and Melissa McClarty (Justin), and 24 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Jodi Pfizenmaier.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Green Cemetery, south of Green, with Pastor Sarah Gill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
