MANHATTAN - The Flint Hills Discovery Center hosts former Major LB player, Greg Pryor, for an author talk on Saturday, August 13th.
Pryor was a member of the 1985 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals and will present 'From the Hot Stove League to the World Series.'
The presentation will highlight Pryor's personal experiences in the MLB to include the Pine Tar game, Disco Demolition night and winning the 1985 World Series.
Pryor's presentation will start at 3:30 pm, and is expected to last about an hour with a public question and answer section to follow.
Signed copies of Pryor's book, The Day The Yankees Made Me Shave, will be available for purchase, along with autographed photos, on a first-come, first-served basis.
The presentation, located in the second floor classroom, is open to the public with no ticket or purchase required to attend, however, paid admission is required to access the 'Big League Fun' exhibit.
