Downtown Manhattan announced that their Third Thursday event season will kick off with big time fun for the kids.  The City of Manhattan, Public Works Department and DMI are bringing several new activities to Third Thursday May 21.

In recognition of National Public Works Month, the City of Manhattan will host a Touch-A-Truck event on N. 4th Street. Kids will get to climb on and learn about a pump truck, a snow plow, a tree grappling arm and most fun of all, will be using the CCTV sewer vehicle to locate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles underground!

In that same area, The City of Manhattan will also be hosting a Juneteenth children's mural. Children of all ages are welcome to paint on the mural which will be displayed inside City Hall upon completion.

North 4th Street will be closed to through traffic on Thursday, May 21st from 3:30-8:30. The alley will remain open and no sidewalks, crosswalks or driveways will be closed off to vehicles or pedestrians.
