MANHATTAN - Senior students from the College of Health and Human Sciences are being recognized for their contributions impacting the well-being of the community or individuals within the community.
The eleven 2022 Fall Outstanding Senior Award winners were nominated by faculty and staff within their respective programs.
The following students are receiving awards:
Allie Houston, personal financial planning, Americus, is the recipient of a leadership award.
Hannah Musil, human development and family science, Blue Rapids, is the recipient of an engagement award.
Grant Ginther, integrative physiology, Hays, is the recipient of an engagement award.
Averie Brown, kinesiology, Hutchinson, is the recipient of a research/creative inquiry award.
Adalynne Haresnape, kinesiology, Lebanon, is the recipient of a leadership award.
Sophie Hewitt, human development and family science, Lenexa, is the recipient of a leadership award.
Dalton Engle, personal financial planning, Manhattan, is the recipient of an engagement award.
Kari Ellet, communication sciences and disorders, McPherson, is the recipient of a leadership award.
Ruth McCaleb, personal financial planning, Sterling, is the recipient of a research/creative inquiry award.
Ashlyn Zachgo, kinesiology, Wamego, is the recipient of an engagement award.
Brittyn Hipp, integrative physiology, Wichita, is the recipient of a leadership award.
Sophie Hewitt will be presenting the student commencement speech at the college's commencement ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in Bramlage Coliseum.
