Kissick Construction, McCown Gordon and the City of Manhattan will begin Phase 2A of the Aggieville/North Manhattan Avenue Improvements Project starting Tuesday. This phase will install underground utilities, continuing closures from Monday.
During Phase 2A, North Manhattan will be periodically closed during the business day from Moro Street north through the intersection with Little Moro for water line installation. Access to Moro Street will only be between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day. However, North Manhattan will be reopened from Bluemont to Little Moro to allow for entrance into Aggieville from the north and west.
North Manhattan Avenue will remain closed both ways between Moro and Laramie streets, as well as closed to northbound traffic from Fremont to East Laramie. West Laramie is still expected to reopen later this week.
