The Riley County Elections Division has announced the addition of Saturday, October 26, to the advance voting schedule at the Riley County Office Building. The additional day will make it easier for residents to cast their ballots in the 2024 General Election.

Advance voting for the 2024 General Election began on October 16. As of closing time on October 21,  2,662 voters have cast their advance ballots in person in Riley County. “We are adding another Saturday to the advance voting schedule to allow more people to vote when it’s most convenient for them. We’re expecting a great turnout for Election Day on November 5th, and voting in advance is one way to avoid long lines at the polling places,” explained Riley County Clerk Rich Vargo. “We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many volunteers and workers who make this election process possible.”

Each advance voter must show photo identification before receiving a ballot. Two locations are open for advance voting and the hours of operation vary. Voters are advised to check the Riley County website for updates and information.
