
Manhattan— Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire in Manhattan.
Just before 5 p.m. Sunday, the Manhattan Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at 422 Redwood Place, according to a media release.
Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home with smoke showing. The fire was contained within 10 minutes. The mobile home was not occupiable after the fire.The structure was a 1977 single-wide mobile home. No one was home at the time of the fire. Loss is estimated at $10,000 to contents and $10,000 to the structure.
The owner is Benjamin Harmon of the same address. There were no injuries reported.
