The City of Maznhattan recently hosted its 5th Annual City Summit, bringing together staff from across all departments for a day focused on professional growth and strengthening public service. The annual summit provides an opportunity for employees to learn new skills, share ideas, and deepen their commitment to serving the community.
This year’s event featured two dynamic guest speakers. Donnie Campbell, a coach and math teacher best known as the real-life inspiration for Ted Lasso, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing leadership, teamwork, and the importance of instilling strong values in the workplace. Carissa Sadique, Learning and Development Specialist with Johnson County Community College, led an interactive session on nonverbal communication and interpersonal professionalism, offering practical tools for today’s diverse work environments.In addition, City Manager, Danielle Dulin and department leadership provided updates on key projects, upcoming initiatives, and new developments shaping the future of the City.
