RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Tuesday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report a 2020 Jeep Cherokee driven by Jesse McDonald, 25, of Mound City struck a 2018 Harley Motorcycle driven by Donald George, 59, of Manhattan at the intersection of Bluemont Avenue and Tuttle Creek Boulevard. The motorcycle then struck a 2020 Ford Explorer, driven by Layrnn Reed, 31, of Manhattan.
EMS transported George to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. McDonald was issued a citation for following too closely.
The RCPD released no additional details.
