WABAUNSEE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Thursday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Malibu driven by Brian P. McAvinew, 41,Overland Park, was eastbound on Interstate 70 one mile east of Snokomo Road.
The vehicle rear-ended a 2017 Kenworth semi driven by Frey, Mark W. Frey, 56, Longmont, Colorado.
EMS transported McAnvinew to a hospital in Topeka. Frey was not injured. McAnvinew was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
