Angela Rose Day, 49, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS. Cremation will take place. A public visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Johnson Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 203 N. Washington Street. Private inurnment will take place at Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to be given to her grandson Luke c/o Exchange Bank in Junction City.

Angela was born September 20, 1972, in Topeka, KS the daughter of Dennis and Sharon (Reves) Straub.

Angela attended Junction City High School. She graduated from Stratford Career Institute. Angela formerly owned and operated Rose's Bakery in Junction City.

She enjoyed spending time at Milford Lake. She also worked as a camp host at the lake. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time with her grandson Luke. Her friends always referred to her as a very generous and giving person. If there was ever extra food or supplies in the home, she always donated it to someone in need.

She married Thomas E. "Cookie" Day. He passed away August 17, 2021.

Survivors include one son, William Day of Junction City, KS; two daughters, Christine Heindel and her husband Jos (Jos in-law) and Caitlyn Day who both reside in Junction City, KS; one grandson, Luke Lipa Mendoza and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Thomas.
