MANHATTAN, KAN. – Effective Thursday, July 1, the Riley County Police Department will expand its fingerprinting services to accommodate general licensing applications.
RCPD will now provide fingerprinting services for applications (i.e. teacher, daycare, adoption, nursing, insurance, etc.). Fingerprints will be available on a walk-in basis only, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the front lobby of the Riley County Police Department located at 1001 S. Seth Child Rd. in Manhattan.
Previously, RCPD only provided fingerprinting for Concealed Carry Licensing purposes. Fingerprinting services for Concealed Carry Licensing will continue along with the new services.
The cost for fingerprinting will be $20, this can be paid with by cash, check or money order. The cost for Concealed Carry Licensing will continue to be $32.50 and can be paid through the same avenues.
