Christine Lynn “Chrissy” Swanson, age 43, of Manhattan, died October 26, 2023.

She was born January 21, 1980, in Manhattan, the daughter of David B. and Shella S. (Cooper) Surowski.

Chrissy graduated from Manhattan High School in 1998 and then earned her associate degree in nursing from Manhattan Area Technical College.

She worked as a property manager for Real Property Leaders.

Chrissy loved her dog Charlie, enjoyed collecting and polishing rocks and going for drives in her Jeep.

Survivors include her two children: Tristan Swanson and Caitlin Swanson of Manhattan; and two sisters: Katie Surowski and Laura Sapp both of Manhattan.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.. Sunday, November 5th, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the T. Russell Reitz Animal Shelter. Contributions may be left in are of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, KS, 66502, is assisting the family with arrangements.
