Riley County EMS Director David Adams has announced that as of Monday, June 6, one Paramedic will be on duty at the Leonardville Fire Station seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Paramedic on duty will be co-responding to any calls for service in northern Riley County. They will be paged in conjunction with fire and ambulance services and will start patient care immediately upon arrival.
Adams thanked the Riley County Commissioners, Riley County Fire District #1, RCEMS staff and leadership, and the IT Department for working together to make this increased level of service possible.
