RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident involving a pedestrian just before 9:30a.m. Thursday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2015 gray Toyota Corolla driven by Simran Joshi, 26, of Manhattan struck a pedestrian identified as Jayce Kohls, 21, of Manhattan near the intersection of Research Park Dr. and N. Manhattan Ave. in Manhattan
EMS transported Kolhs to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Police issued Joshi a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
