Lance Willmann, 44, of Topeka, Kansas passed away at his home on December 25, 2022. Lance was born on March 10, 1978, to Gary and Sherrie (Steele) Willmann in Clay Center, Kansas. Lance grew up in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1996. He went on to study elementary education at the University of Kansas.
He started his first job at Carlos O Kelly's at Lawrence, Kansas as a server and quickly worked his way up to manager. He then managed the restaurants located in Wichita and Topeka, KS, where he made his home.
Shortly after starting his job in Topeka he met Ragan Mainz and they were married on July 7, 2007. Lance and Ragan welcomed two children together, Elsie in 2010 and Henry in 2016 who all survive of the home.
Lance started wrestling at the age of five and continued to wrestle until he graduated from high school. He was also a big Nebraska Cornhusker fan and spent many weekends at the games in Lincoln with family and friends. Lance and Ragan were big fans of the Red Hot Chili Peppers band and attended their concerts, which included a trip to Ireland.
In addition to his wife and two children, he is survived by his parents, Gary and Sherrie Willmann, a sister Alissa (Andrew) Cummins, niece Taryn Cummins and nephews Axyl and Zayne Cummins. mother and father-in-law, Darrell and Marilyn Maniz, and sister-in-law, Jessica Maniz, along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4-7 p .m. at the Neill- Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, Clay Center, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 31, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro and Pastor Michael Hofmann.
Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Elsie and Henry Willmann Education Fund c/o funeral home.
