Robert Steven Hamil, age 66, of Manhattan, died Wednesday November 17th 2021 at Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan KS. Steve was born March 14th 1955 in Cape Girardeau Missouri, the son of Robert Vaden Hamil and Gloria Joyce (Skinner) Hamil. He grew up in Illmo &amp; graduated from Illmo-Scott City High School in 1973. He and Debra Ann Heissserer were married April 26th 1975 in Kelso MO. In his early years he worked at Harold’s Market before following in his dad's footsteps to work for the railroad (Cotton Belt/Southern Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad) until retirement. Steve is survived by his son Dustin Hamil of Manhattan KS, daughter Summer (Lincoln) McClure of Manhattan KS, three grandchildren and his sister Brenda (Hamil) Martens of Perryville, MO. He was preceded in death by his son Travis Hamil and his sister Tempa Greene. To honor Steve’s wishes no service will take place at this time&nbsp;&nbsp;
