RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a business burglary in Manhattan.
Just after 8:30a.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of N. 3rd St. in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Dairy Queen reported the restaurant was broken into through the back door and a safe with cash inside was stolen.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
