RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect for alleged child sex crimes.
On Wednesday, police filed a report for sexual exploitation of a child in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Mitchell Simmons, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on requested charges of of sexual exploitation of a child; possess media of a child < 18 and breach of privacy; install/use concealed camcorder without consent.
Simmons was issued no bond and was confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Police released no additional details about the alleged crime.
