RILEY COUNTY —Three people were injured in two separate weekend accidents in Riley County.
Just after 6p.m. Friday, a Ford F150 driven by Marie Freeman, 56, Manhattan, was traveling at the intersection of McCall Road and Hayes Drive, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The driver failed to yield at the red light and the pickup struck a 2018 Chevy Malibu driven by Tabitah Dobrovolny, 32, Ogden.
EMS transported Freeman to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. She was also cited for failure to stop at a red light, according to the RCPD.
Just before 7:30p.m. Saturday, a 2009 GMC 2500 driven by Thomas Henton, 65, Clay Center collided with a 2022 Hyundai Accent driven by Kristtoffer Schrater, 45, of Marysville, according to the RCPD.
EMS transported Schrater to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and his passenger, Debra Schrater 35, also of Marysville was transported via Medical Flight Helicopter to Stormont Vail for treatment of her injuries.
Henton was not injured and was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way, according to the RCPD.
