Phase 2B and 3A of the Anderson Avenue Water, Street, & Storm Improvements Project will reconstruct the westbound lanes of Anderson Avenue from College Heights Road to Elling Drive. These phases will also extend the work zone east from Oakdale Drive to Harris Avenue.Then, for approximately two weeks, the outside lanes will be closed while crews bore water service conduit beneath Anderson Avenue.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction in the middle lanes.After boring is complete, traffic control in the Phase 3A area will shift to provide one lane of traffic in each direction on the westbound side of Anderson Avenue.
Traffic Impact: The work zone will be extended with a longer stretch of one-lane traffic in each direction and open lanes will shift during different phases of this work. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, watch for changing traffic patterns, and allow extra travel time through the project area.
Phase 2B and 3A begin Monday, October 5.Phase 3A boring is expected to finish the week of October 19.
