Investors in the Pottawatomie County Economic Development Corporation will hold their annual meeting called by the Board of Directors on Thursday, May 5th at 8 a.m. at the Columbian Theatre in Wamego. Awards will be presented for outstanding achievements and investments in the county. There will also be a seven-year overview presented on accomplishments and results over the last seven years.
The meeting will also hold a short discussion on the Scorpion Biological Sciences project planned in Pottawatomie County on the east side of Manhattan. The focus will be on its impact, the structure of the financing, workforce implications as well as infrastructure.
