GEARY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Sunday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Freightliner semi driven by Warren Lewis Dixon, 45, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was westbound on Interstate 70 one mile west of Junction City.. The semi traveled through the median across eastbound lanes into the south ditch. The vehicle came to rest on Spring Valley Road.
EMS transported Dixon to Stormont Vail Flint Hills. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
