RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating an alleged rape at Kansas State University.
Just after 3p.m. Thursday, 18-year-old Elgin Bennett of Fayetteville, Georgia turned himself into police for his Riley County District Court warrant for rape and aggravated sexual battery, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The original incident is a Kansas State University Police Department case, according to the RCPD. Bennett was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer in custody.
