MANHATTAN - Just after 3:30pm on Wednesday, the City of Manhattan posted to social media, warning community members of a water main break near the intersection of 11th Street and Poyntz Avenue.
Due to the water line break, traffic is reduced through the area to allow crews to find and repair the break in a timely manner.
Traffic changes include:
-Westbound: Outside lane of Poyntz Avenue is closed from 10th Street through 12th Street
-Westbound: No right turn(northbound) onto 11th Street from Poyntz Avenue
-Eastbound: No left turn(northbound) from Poyntz Avenue onto 11th Street
-Southbound: right turn only
Also, there is no to low water pressure for 11th Street from Poyntz through Leavenworth and on Humboldt Street from 9th to 11th Streets.
