WICHITA - The Wichita Police Department arrested a 45-year-old man, on Monday evening, in connection with the Sunday afternoon shooting in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department, Brannan Turner was taken into custody around 10:00 pm.
WPD utilized license plate reader technology to assist in the arrest of Turner. Using this technology, WPD was able to narrow down the area Turner was located within, allowing them to make a quick apprehension.
Turner will face multiple requested charges, including attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, and felony flee and attempt to elude.
Turner's bond is set at $500,000 and he is currently confined to the Riley County Jail.
The Riley County Police Department would like to thank the Wichita Police Department for their apprehension of the subject. Further, we want to thank them for the cooperation and professionalism they showed in coordinating the transfer of custody of the subject.
