Wilma Jean Anderson, age 93, of Manhattan, died October 9, 2022, at Stoneybrook Retirement Community.
She was born July 2, 1929, in Cleburne, Kansas, the daughter of Chester Cordell and Theresa E. (Christopher) Wilkinson.
On January 11, 1947, she was married to Kenneth W. Anderson. Kenneth preceded her in death on June 11, 1998.
Wilma Jean was a homemaker and was the bookkeeper/receptionist with her husband at Anderson Supply Company.
She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1947. She was a member of College Avenue United Methodist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler for many years.
Survivors include her three daughters: Wanda Sue Edinger and Karen Kay Humphrey and her husband Robert Harris all of Broken Bow, OK, and Lea Ann Eichem and her husband Tony of Belvue, KS; two grandchildren: Randall Gillette and Shana Jahnke; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son Chuck; two grandchildren: Kassandra and Anglea; and her brother Don Wilkinson.
Private family graveside services will be held at Sunset Cemetery.
