RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating another theft of a firearm from an unlocked vehicle.
Just after 2p.m. Friday, officers filed a report for theft in the 700 block of Pottawatomie Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 31-year-old man reported his Rock Island 1911 handgun was stolen from his unlocked car. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $575.
