JUNCTION CITY - On Thursday, July 27, 2023, the Geary County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant in connection with an investigation into the distribution of controlled substance at Space Out Smoke and Vape around 2:00 p.m.

Space Out Smoke and Vape is located at 433 East Chestnut in Junction City.&nbsp;

During the search, the Sheriff's Office located approximately 1450 items containing the controlled substance THC(tetrahydrocannabinol) and approximately 1200 items of drug paraphernalia specific to the possession and/or consumption of illegal substances.

The Sheriff's Office says some of the items seized were packaged similar to legitimate candy items, but had a high concentration of THC.

The Sheriff's Office encourages parents to&nbsp;be aware of what your children and young adults are consuming as these items could cause serious health issues.

This case is still under investigation. Nothing further at this time.&nbsp;&nbsp;
