Flossie “LoRea” Dinger, 77, of Ogden, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday (December 27, 2022) at Meadowlark Hills in Manhattan, Kansas.
Born January 16, 1945 in Wamego, Kansas, LoRea was the daughter of Chester Marvin and Pauline Josephine (William) Dinger.
LoRea worked as a dishwasher and busser for Stacy’s Restaurant in Grandview Plaza for many years.
Survivors include; four sons, Weldon White Jr., Chester White (Doyle), Ernest White (Lynn) and Howard White; two daughters, Rhonda LoRea Witt (Greg) and Amanda Hall; a daughter in law, Christina White; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Thelma New; and a sister in law, Tammy Dinger.
LoRea was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rex White; a daughter, Cindy White; a great grandchild; three brothers, Austin Dinger (Barbara), Edwin Dinger and Marvin Dinger: a sister, Marjorie Wickizer; and a brother in law, Delbert New.
Funeral services will be held Friday (December 30, 2022) at 10:30 a.m. in the Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego with Rob Campanella officiating. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral service with inurnment in Wamego City Cemetery at a later date.
The family will meet with friends at visitation on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Wamego.
