Junction City man hospitalized after Jeep lands in Milford Lake

GEARY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Thursday in Geary County.

The Kansas Highway Parol reported a 2019 Jeep Compass driven by Paul J, Pacholski, 32, Junction City, was westbound on Farnum Creek Road from U.S. 77.  The Jeep struck a pole, a delineator post, traveled off the roadway and came to rest in Milford Lake.

EMS transported Pacholski to Stormont Vail. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP

UPDATE:

The Geary County Sheriff's Office/Junction City Fire Department joint dive team was able to recover the submerged vehicle and the Farnum Creek Boat Ramp is once again open.

The Geary County Sheriff's Office said there is a vehicle submerged at the Milford Lake Farnum Creek Boat Ramp that is not visible.

The ramp is closed for use. Please avoid the area from the water as well.
