RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged arson.
Just before 12:30p.m. Saturday, police filed a report for arson and interference with law enforcement in the 2700 block of Brookglen Circle in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 23 -year-old man and Howie’s Recycling Center were listed as the victims when it was reported a 50-year-old woman started a fire and damaged a dumpster.
Joanne Burnett, 50, of Manhattan was arrested for arson and interference with law enforcement. Burnett met the requirement of a $6,000 bond and and is no longer in custody.
