
Manhattan, KS — Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan (BGCMK) announces that the Board of Directors has unanimously named Mindy Weixelman as the next Chief Executive Officer, effective June 22, 2026. BGCMK conducted its search process with the assistance of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s CEO Search Team.
Mindy Weixelman is a transformational nonprofit executive with more than two decades of experience leading organizations through strategic growth, financial turnaround, and culture change. As President and CEO of the Kansas 4-H Foundation, she led a statewide philanthropic strategy advancing youth development and workforce readiness, while overseeing enterprise operations for a premier center for youth programs and conferences.
Mindy is known for building trust across boards, staff, and stakeholders, and for aligning philanthropic investment with mission-driven impact. She has led multimillion-dollar fundraising efforts, including launching a $25 million comprehensive campaign and increasing annual revenue by 148%. Her leadership has strengthened governance, expanded donor engagement, and positioned organizations for long-term sustainability.
A collaborative and strategic leader, Mindy has guided board development, succession planning, and multi-generational engagement while fostering high-performing teams. She is a frequent speaker on philanthropy, governance, and nonprofit leadership, and is deeply committed to mentoring emerging leaders in the sector.
