Manhattan, KS. - Donald Trump is pouring public money into his authoritarian takeovers of cities—deploying federal forces, seizing local police departments, and funding mass detention and deportation operations—while cutting services that working families rely on every single day.
An organization called Indivisible MHK will host No Kings 2 rally and protest on Saturday, October 18, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM in the Manhattan City Park. A rally will take place at 2:00 PM at the Larry Norvell Band Shell with speakers from the community. At 3:00 PM, participants will march to the north side of Poyntz Avenue to hold protest until 4:00 PM
IndivisibleMHK joins with other national and local organizations including Move On, Common Cause, People for the American Way, 50501, the American Federation of Teachers, the American Association of University Professors, the League of Women Voters, the Sierra Club and many others to demand an end to the billionaire takeover.
Together, we will peacefully mobilize, yet again, in huge numbers to reject this corruption and abuse of power—it’s in our DNA as a country.
