Blue Earth Plaza in downtown Manhattan was the site of the Downtown Manhattan Tree Lighting ceremony Friday evening. The annual event always draws a big crowd as the holiday season moves into full swing.

Whoville, Inc. is a group of local Manhattan business owners and community leaders who wanted to give back. They formed a not-for-profit collective to create the Festival of Lights. The Festival of Lights is funded annually by local individuals and businesses.
