MANHATTAN - On Sunday, December 25th, community members are invited to take part in two community meals.
The first is the annual Manhattan Community Christmas Dinner, which is being held at the St. Thomas More Parish Hall, located behind the church, at 2900 Kimball Avenue.
The dinner menu includes your choice of ham, fried chicken or pulled pork, with mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberry sauce, dinner roll and your choice of apple or pumpkin pie.
This sit-down meal starts serving at 11:00 a.m., take home orders will be available starting at 12:30 p.m.
Take-home orders are limited to 6 meals/family, no drive through meal pick-up will be available.
Meals will be served until food runs out or 2:00 p.m. whichever occurs first.

On December 25th, the First Congregational UCC, located at 700 Poyntz Avenue will be serving 'Second Helping' starting at 6:00 pm, as either a dine-in or carry out meal for anyone in need of a warm meal on Christmas night.
