Alberta “Bert” Stallbaumer, 83, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Bert was born March 23, 1940, in Corning, Kansas, the daughter of
Albert and Anna Rusche Ronnebaum and graduated from Corning High School
in 1957. On June 1, 1957, Alberta and Garylee Stallbaumer were united in
marriage, sharing 65 years together.
Bert was a member of
Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. She collected angels, loved
her Yorkies and Keith Urban. She loved to travel, visiting most of the
United States and Europe. Bert was a wonderful cook and shared that
talent at Assumption Grade School for 17 years. She loved her family
dearly and was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She
will be greatly missed.
Grateful to have shared her life are
her husband, Gary; their children, Dennis Stallbaumer (Kim), Denise
Smidt (Fred), DeAnna Evans (Gary) and Rhonda Combs (Mike);
grandchildren, Colleen, Holly and Jesey; great-grandchildren, Tara,
Brynn, Abram and Elora; her siblings, Maxine Hochard, Nancy Ronnebaum
and Marlin Ronnebaum. She was preceded in death by her sister, Norma
Koerperich.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday,
April 26, at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Church and will be
livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Burial will follow in
West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
