Kevin Lee Good, age 40, of Salina, died November 7, 2023, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

He was born December 30, 1982, in Manhattan.

Kevin graduated from Manhattan High School in 2001.

He had worked as a milker for the Kansas State University Dairy, then had a career in construction for two decades, working for Schultz Construction, Kolde Concrete, Coonrod Construction and then in Salina for Lancaster Construction. Kevin took pride in his work and in the projects that were created by his teams.

Kevin loved to be outdoors – especially fishing – and enjoyed working on the farm with his grandfather, Harold Bailey. He took interest in others, be they farm neighbors, family members or co-workers. He had a kind heart and generous spirit. His generosity lives on through his gifts as an organ donor.

In his youth he participated in Little Apple Soccer, Pillsbury 4-H Club, Manhattan High FFA and was on the Riley County 4-H Livestock Judging Team. He was a huge Boston Red Sox Fan.

Survivors include his parents Cheryl Marstall and her husband Mike and Mike Good and his wife Wanda all of Manhattan, KS; three children: Cayden and Mason Good and Kylie Zieber all of Riley, KS; one sister Kristen Turner (Thad) of Kingman, KS; and his grandfather Harold Bailey of Manhattan. He had a deep love for his children and family, including his cousins who mourn his loss.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bonnie Bailey and Doris and Margaret Good.

Private family graveside services will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Larson officiating. A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 2nd, at the Deep Creek Schoolhouse, 3125 Deep Creek Road, Manhattan, KS 66502.
