Manhattan city officials have announced via social media that starting Thursday, June 9, Wildcat Construction, in conjunction with ESI Construction, will be closing Pottawatomie Street east of South Manhattan Avenue, just north of the levee.
This closure is expected to last for approximately 3 weeks as part of the City and U.S. Corps of Engineers levee project and will allow for the installation of a new water line over the levee.
Access to residences on the south side of Pottawatomie will be from the east only during this construction period.
