Marc Lane Fosdick, 62, of Oak Hill, KS, died Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in a farming accident at the farm where he lived with his girlfriend, Rose Scott.
Marc was born April 6, 1961, in Concordia, KS, the son of Patricia (Craig) Bonde and Darrel Fosdick.
Marc graduated from Miltonvale High School in 1980 and attended Beloit Vo-Tech. He married several times and lived in various locations and states.
He was a carpenter at the time of his death. In his spare time, you might find him with a chainsaw in his hands cutting firewood or cedar trees in the pasture, at a local pond (or a secret honey-hole) trying to catch the most elusive fish, in the garden planting, watering, weeding and harvesting produce, or in the kitchen cooking, canning or baking something flavorful and yummy.
Marc is proceeded in death by his mother Patricia Bonde, half-brothers Patrick Smith and Tracy Fosdick and his grandparents.
Survivors include his girlfriend Rose and their pets, several friends, and neighbors he loved dearly, his father Darrel Fosdick of Clyde, KS; sister, Jacque (Fosdick) Kimble; brother, Lance Fosdick; half-sister, Terri (Fosdick) Rush of Salina; stepsister, Angie (Fosdick) Callihan of Concordia, and aunts and cousins.
A Celebration of Life gathering is scheduled for 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Miltonvale Senior Center in Miltonvale KS.
