Manhattan city officials said Saturday that a traffic signal at Kimball and Browning was damaged in the storm Friday night. The signal is not working and this intersection will be in a 4-way stop condition until the signal is repaired. It may take several days for parts to arrive and be installed.
Expect traffic delays especially during morning and evening rush hours. Please use extra caution in the area. Officers from Riley County PD will direct traffic at this intersection during school crossing times - morning and afternoon - starting Monday. The get signal will be repaired as quickly as possible.
