Barbara Ann Fields, 72, of Wakefield, KS, passed away at Monday afternoon August 14th, 2023 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House, in Manhattan.

Barbara was born in Chicago, IL on January 15, 1951, the daughter of the late Jessie, Sr. and Dorothy L. (Barnett) Green. She graduated from the Wendell Phillips High School, in Chicago. She was a teacher, member of the NEA, and loved to dance and teach it to her friends and others.

Barbara is survived by a daughter, LaShawn A. (Andre Carradine) Fields, of Joliet, IL. Also surviving are LaQuisha Carradine of Junction City, Jamaria Moore, Joliet, IL; and 6 siblings. She was preceded in death by her son: James Moore, II, her parents and 5 siblings.

There will be no services at this time and memorials to the donor's choice.
