Stanley S. Budinas, 72, of Junction City, Kansas died on Friday, June 30, 2023, at his residence. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Episcopal Church of the Covenant in Junction City. The Reverend Doreen Rice and The Very Reverend Steven Lipscomb will officiate. His cremated remains will be placed in the church columbarium. Since Stanley never owned a suit, comfortable attire is requested for the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Episcopal Church Tuesday evening community meal program or to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 3801 Vanesta Drive Manhattan, Kansas 66503
He was born on August 29, 1950, in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania the son of Leonard and Josephine (Kulish) Budinas.
On May 28, 1971, he married Vicky L. Biggs in Queens, New York.
Survivors include his loving wife Vicky of the home in Junction City; one daughter, Dr. Lynley Holman and her husband Richard of Lawrence, Kansas; one son, Jason Budinas and his wife Cassie of Junction City, Kansas; one brother, Leonard Budinas and his wife Mary Liz of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Alishah, Sidney, Jace, Phoenix, Leighton, Carter, and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
