Two Riley County residents have passed away after testing positive for COVID-19.&nbsp;

Their deaths bring the total number of COVID-related deaths in the county to 57.&nbsp;

Riley County has identified 108 new positive Coronavirus cases and 67 additional recoveries since the last report on September 1 2021.&nbsp;

Two Riley County residents have passed away after testing positive for COVID-19.&nbsp;<ul>
 <li>A 75-year-old male died on Sept. 15, 2020, at Via Christi Hospital. At the time of his death, the vaccine was not authorized and available. His death was identified as a probable case by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and verified by the Office of Victim Services (OVS).&nbsp;</li><li>A 51-year-old unvaccinated female tested positive on 8/14/2021 and died on 9/3/2021 at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.</li>
