SHAWNEE COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Wednesday in Shawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ford F150 driven by Matthew Brent Dailey, 38, Manhattan, was eastbound on Interstate 70 one half mile west of Wanamaker.
The pickup rear-ended a 2005 Freightliner semi driven by Micha Lee Stahl, 53, Bennington, who was stopped in construction zone traffic. The impact pushed the semi into the back of 2023 Mack Truck driven by Khalib Butler, 31, Kansas City.
EMS transported Dailey to a Topeka hospital. Butler and Stahl were not injured. All three drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
