WABAUNSEE COUNTY— Two people were injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Wednesday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 pulling a trailer and driven by Randy Neil Davis, 57, Manhattan, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of Tallgrass Road.
The trailer started to sway, laid over on its side and pulled the truck onto the south shoulder where it overturned.
EMS transported Davis and a passenger 58-year-old Maribeth Davis of Manhattan, to Via Christi. Both were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
